Environmental & contaminated soil

Tracenet started here. Quebec’s environmental sector needed a way to prove — to regulators, to clients, to insurers — that contaminated soil and excavated materials ended up where they were supposed to. Paper manifests had two problems: they got lost, and they got falsified. Tracenet solved both.

The EUDR is in force. If you place beef, wood, soy, coffee, cocoa, palm oil, or rubber on the EU market, you have to prove — for every shipment — that the product is deforestation-free, legally produced, and traceable to the specific plot it came from.
